Anthony V. Cosco 91 of Greensburg died Sunday January 1, 2017 in St. Anne's Home. He was born February 14, 1925 in Jeannette a son of the late Thomas and Theresa (Fragili) Cosco. Prior to retirement he was a Senior Manager for HSBC in Butler and was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Army. He received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and was a member of the American Legion Post 344 and VFW 8240 and Ascension Church all of Jeannette. Anthony was an avid golfer and bowler and played drums for the Jeannette Centennial Band and Al Galati Band. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Wilberta (Dudley) Cosco, his second wife Bernice (Pink) Blinky-Cosco, a brother Adolph J. Cosco, two sisters Anna Cosco and Mary (Cosco) Blasco. He is survived by his children Valerie Cosco of Greensburg, Mark Cosco and his wife Carolyn of Cranberry Twp. and Stephanie Sciore and her husband Scott of Greenville, SC, two grandchildren Rebekah Regan and her husband John and Matthew Cosco and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc 201 N. First St. Jeannette Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home with Fr. Paul Lisik officiating. Interment with military rites accorded by the Jeannette Combined Veterans will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery. To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
