Christina (Urchick) Elias

Christina Elias, 98, of Jeannette died Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg.  She was born April 19, 1919, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Urchick.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph (Juzy) Elias and siblings; Sophie, Catherine, Stella, Annie, Charles, Helen and John.  She is survived by three sons, James Elias, Charles Elias and his wife Jeanie and Steve Elias and his wife Tammy, all of Jeannette, two daughters, Joyce Elias of Jeannette and Christine Emerick and her husband Jerry of Savanah, GA, seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, Mike Urchick of Greensburg and Paul Urchick of MI, three sisters, Mary Reed of Irwin, Martha Shemshock of Jeannette, and Rose Kepich of MI and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Wednesday from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette.  A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Joyce Torri officiating.  Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  To send on-line condolences, visit www.mason-gelder.com.
