Edward J. Saska, 83, of Greensburg, formerly of Jeannette, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville.  He was born March 13, 1934 in Arnold, a son of the late Andrew and Mary Stopko Saska.  Prior to retirement he worked at ASG Industries.  He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette.  He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Kaduk Saska of Greensburg, three children, Maria Check and her husband Larry of North Huntingdon, Andrew Saska and his wife Vicki of Erie and Joseph Saska and his wife Eileen of Jeannette, five grandchildren; Veronica and Benjamin Check and Kerigan, Julie and Andrea Saska, four siblings; Mary Louise Klingensmith of NH, Gertrude Dunlap and Thomas Saska, both of Lower Burrell and Barbara Saska of New Kensington and numerous nieces and nephews.  All services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greensburg Meals on Wheels, 716 Foster St., Greensburg, PA 15601.  To send on-line condolences, visit www.mason-gelder.com.  MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., in charge of arrangements.
