Gloria J. Monstrola 72 of Jeannette died Thursday November 23, 2017 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  She was born April 27, 1945 in Greensburg a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Greig) Kerr.  Prior to retirement she was employed by Montgomery Ward and then Target.  She was a member of Word of Life Church and 55 Alive.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Catherine Harshell.  She is survived by her husband Gilden R. Monstrola, two daughters Dawn Monstrola and her fiance Robert Kern of Jeannette and Deanna Sharp and her husband Roy of Austin, TX, two grandsons Charles Hodgkins and his wife Brittany and Cody Shaneyfelt and his fiance Shelby DeVincentes, two great granddaughters Brianna Marie Hodgkins and Sirene Rose Shaneyfelt, a brother James Kerr and his wife Pat of Arizona and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Friday from 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc.201 N. First St. Jeannette.  Additional visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 AM till time of service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Entombment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
