Jeanette Tillman, 91, of Jeannette, formerly of Colorado, passed away Saturday July 15, 2017 in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. She was born on October 12, 1925 in Jeannette a daughter of the late Grant and Alice (Williams) Tillman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Venus, Henrietta, Susie, and Willie Mae and brothers Ivan, Monroe and Joseph. Jeanette served in the U.S. Air Force and prior to her retirement worked as the Supervisor of the Federal Governments Payroll Detective Center in Boulder, Co. She was the Mother of  Life Christian Center Church in Jeannette and was a current member of Living Word Congressional Center. Jeanette is survived by her god son Roy K. Ellison and his wife Dedria of TX, sisters Cora Irene Guest of Jeannette and Alice Juanita Nixon of  Cleveland, OH; sister in law Theresa (Tillman) Cantine of Jeannette; care giver Donna Ellison of Jeannette and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A funeral service will be held Thursday in the funeral home at 11am with Rev. Roy Aiken presiding. Interment with military rites accorded by the Jeannette Combined Veterans will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery.
