Joseph D. Feola, Sr., 78, of Jeanentte died Saturday April 8, 2017 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born December 27,1938 in Jeannette, a son of the late August and Christina (Pandolph) Feola. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Joseph Feola, Jr. and three brothers Charles, Michael and Phil Feola. Prior to retirement he worked at Omnova as a Machine Operator and was a member of various clubs and organizations. Joe is survived by his  loving wife Emily (Schmidt) Feola of Jeannette, Children Susan Smith of Jeannette, Leroy Smith of  Irwin, Sharon Kottelicj of Jeannette, Shelly McCurdy of Greensburg, Stacy Smith of Arizona and Ron Feola of Arizona. Siblings Henry Feola of Irwin, Cecelia Austin of Greensburg, Rosie Grosley of Greensburg and Pasquale Feola of Jeannette and numerous grandchildren,great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc 201 N. First St. Jeannette on Thursday from 12-2 and 3 until the time of service with Fr. Paul Lisik at 5PM. Interment will be private.
