Margaret J. Podolinski, 89, of Jeannette passed away Monday December 18, 2017. She was born August 9, 1928 in Kregar, Pa a daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Lenhart) Neiderhiser, Sr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Frank S. Podolinski, Sr. two brothers Arthur Jr. and Edward Neiderhiser and an infant sister Vera Jean. Margaret was a member of Penn-Zion Lutheran Church, Penn and was previously employed at Jeannette District Memorial Hospital in the dietary department and gift shop. She enjoyed gardening, house cleaning and spending time with her family. Surviving are her son Lanny Podolinski and his wife Peggy of Greensburg, daughter Gloria Beavers and husband John Jr. of Greenburg and son Rev. Frank Podolinski and wife Alice of Greensburg. Grandchildren Michael (Becky), Rachael, Sarah (Michael), Sarah (Adam) from the UK, John III (Kelli), Molly (Brock) from Altoona, Jacob, Abby and Ben. Great Grandchildren Avery, Zachary, Alexander, Bailey, Aaron, Dylan, Noah, Sebastian, Matthew, Isabella, Eden and Esther from the UK. Sisters Mabel Griffin of Jeannette and Joanne Dallum of Arizona and brother Walter Neiderhiser of Donegal and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, INC. 201 N. First St Jeannette. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11am in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd 501 Fairfield Dr. Greensburg with Rev. Roger Steiner officiating. Everyone please meet at the church. Interment will follow in Jeannette Memorial Park.
