Michael Allen Rugh, 46 of Jeannette passed away suddenly on Friday, September 23, 2016 at his residence. He was born September 13, 1970 in Indiana, PA, a son of Dorothy Garris Rugh of Greensburg and the late Edward Rugh. He graduated from Jeannette High School class of 1988. Michael was an excellent chef, holding a cook’s position at St. Anne Home. He enjoyed a good game of yatzee with mom as she will miss those good days. He liked a good laugh. He loved life, his family as well as aunts, uncles and many cousins. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Thomas Rugh and a niece, Barbara Rugh. In addition to his mother, he is survived by siblings; David Rugh and his wife Vida of Adams, TN, Lois Gildert of Baltimore, MD, Linda Rugh of Greensburg, Stephen P. Rugh of Somerset, Janet E. Stewart and her husband Dave of Creekside, PA, Ronald Rugh of Tacoma, WA, Carol Trageser of Frederick, MD and Sandy Miano and her husband Vince of Jeannette. Michael will be sadly missed by his fiancé Elaine Smth and her step-daughter, Kayla Brougher and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday from 11:00 – 1:00 pm in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A blessing service will be held at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Fr. Paul Lisik officiating. Interment will be private.
