Robert A. Sacket, Sr. 86 of Jeannette died Friday April 14,2017 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born August 12, 1930 in White Valley Pa, a son of the late Victor and Josephine (Enrico) Sacket. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant sister and sisters Lucille Ferrero and Rose Fredo; brothers David and Peter Sacket. Robert was a member of The Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg where he served as an usher. He previously worked at Jeannette Glass as a Glazer, served in the U.S. Army, and loved to go to flea markets. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Joan (Schmidt) Sacket, daughter Cindy Ozzello and husband Dennis of Jeannette, son Robert A. Sacket, Jr. and wife Amy of Jeannette, brother James Sacket and wife Stella of Forbes Rd. Twin brother Richard and wife Marian of Greensburg. Three grandchildren Justin Geier, Margaret (Ozzello) Calkins and husband Charlie, and Joseph Ozzello. A special friend Bobby Newell and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 18th from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. Parting Prayers will be held in the funeral home at 9AM on Wednesday followed by a funeral Mass at The Blessed Sacrament Cathedral at 9:30AM.
