Theresa M. (Kovacs) Pilkington

Theresa M. Pilkington, 91, of Jeannette died Monday February 19,2018 in St. Anne Home, Greensburg. She was born February 9, 1927 in Jeannette, a daughter of the late John F. and Mary (Kobat) Kovacs, Sr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Glenn A. Pilkington and siblings John F. Kovacs Jr., Ann Atcheson, Louis (Liche) Kovacs, and Mary Scherff. Prior to retirement, she worked in the shipping department at Jeannette Glass. Theresa was a life long member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette and a past member of the High Park Ladies Auxiliary and High Park Ladies Card Club. She is survived by her son Gary Pilkington and wife Marlyn of Jeannette; daughter Karen Dorko and husband Kevin of Greensburg; grandchildren Leann Kozera and husband Robert, Gary Pilkington, Drew Dorko and wife Christina, Kellie Lowry and husband Tyler; great grandchildren Cody and Samantha Pilkington, Austin and Isabella Kozera and Harrison Lowry and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. The Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 10am in Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette with Fr. Paul Lisik as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
