Glenn R. "Skip" Donaldson

Glenn “Skip” Donaldson, 93, formerly of Penn, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. 

Living his life as a man who “never met a stranger”, Skip was known for his wit, loyalty and helpful ways, including being a faithful blood donor. He enjoyed country music, patio gardening, building puzzles, bingo and being with friends.

Skip was a graduate of Jeannette High School. Prior to his employment at the National Aluminum Company, Skip honorably served his country in both the Army and Air Force. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Betty Donaldson Sr, a brother, Elmer Donaldson Jr, sister, Jean Kline and long time companion, Yvonne O’Lear. Skip is survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and their families. 

The family wishes to acknowledge special caregivers, Colleen Noonan, Dan Evanovich, Greensburg Senior Life Program, plus Weatherwood Assisted Living Center, RNC of Greensburg and Bridges Hospice. 

Interment will be in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, PA. No formal service will be offered. Memorial contributions may be made in Skip’s memory to The Red Cross www.redcross.org <http://www.redcross.org>
