RANDY G. GELDER

Supervisor/Funeral Director

Randy is a 1984 graduate from Jeannette Senior High School . He then attended Washington and Jefferson College . In 1987, Randy graduated with Honors from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Randy is currently a member of the National Funeral Director’s Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Director’s Association, and Westmoreland, Indiana, and Armstrong County Funeral Director’s Association, where he is the current secretary.

Randy continues the tradition of his father, Glenn S. Gelder, by serving the community as a member of the Jeannette Fire Department. Randy is also a member and current Assistant Chief of the Westmoreland County Rough Terrain Support Unit Team 211 and a member of the Westmoreland County Animal Response Team.  Randy is also a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Jeannette, where he and his family attend. He is also a member of Jeannette’s Knights of Columbus 1222.



CAROL L. GELDER

Business Manager

Carol has worked at Mason-Gelder Funeral Home since January of 1985. She is currently our office manager. Carol is a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, the church’s choir and serves on the board of Community Home Health Care.


ANDREA J. GELDER

Office Manager

Andrea J. Gelder began working at the funeral home in January of 2002. She is a licensed notary public and our After Care Coordinator. Andrea works with our families during and long after the funeral.  She is a member of Sacred Heart Church and it's Rosary Altar Society.  Andrea is also an active member of the Westmoreland County Animal Response Team; a Humane Officer in Westmoreland County and Westmoreland County Rough Terrain Support Unit Team 211. In July of 2011 she began her own business- Pet Removal & Cremation Services, Inc.



Sara A. Gelder

Funeral Director

Sara is the fourth generation to enter our business.  She is a 2004 graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic High School and a 2007 graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.  In between she attended Seton Hill University for the requirements to enter Mortuary School.  She is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, Past President of Westmoreland, Indiana, Armstrong County Funeral Directors Association and the Italian American Club of Export.  Sara and her husband Stephen are avid cyclists and love the outdoors.
