RANDY G. GELDER
Supervisor/Funeral Director
Randy is a 1984 graduate from Jeannette Senior High School . He then attended Washington and Jefferson College . In 1987, Randy graduated with Honors from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Randy is currently a member of the National Funeral Director’s Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Director’s Association, and Westmoreland, Indiana, and Armstrong County Funeral Director’s Association, where he is the current secretary.
Randy continues the tradition of his father, Glenn S. Gelder, by serving the community as a member of the Jeannette Fire Department. Randy is also an active Deputy Director for the Jeannette Emergency Management system, current member and past president of the Jeannette Kiwanis, and member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Jeannette, where he and his family attend. He is also a member for Jeannette’s Knights of Columbus at 1222.
BRENDA GELDER RIBAR
Funeral Director
Brenda is a 1985 graduate of Jeannette Senior High School, a 1990 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College, and graduated in January 1996 from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. She is a member of the National Funeral Director’s Association, Pennsylvania Funeral Director’s Association, and Westmoreland, Indiana, and Armstrong County Funeral Director’s Association. Brenda is also a member of the Sacred Heart Church, the Rosary Altar Society, and the Jeannette Youth Commission.
CAROL L. GELDER
Office Manager
Carol has worked at Mason-Gelder Funeral Home since January of 1985. She is currently our office manager. Carol is a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, the church’s choir and serves on the board of Community Home Health Care.
ANDREA J. GELDER
After Care Coordinator
Andrea J. Gelder began working at the funeral home in January of 2002. She is a licensed notary public and our After Care Coordinator. Andrea works with our families during and long after the funeral.
SARA A. GELDER
Funeral Service Intern
Sara is the daughter of Randy and Andrea Gelder. She is a September 2007 graduate of The Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Sara attended Seton Hill University for two years prior to her graduation. Sara will be the fourth generation in the family business and is a member of Jeanette Lions.
