Antoinette (Balsamo) Andiorio

Antoinette Andiorio, 87, of Jeannette, died Sunday, September 30, 2018 in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville after a valiant struggle with a multitude of health problems.  She was born June 29, 1931 in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Joseph and Philippinna Guinta Balsamo.  She was a member of Ascension Church, Jeannette and the church's Rosary Altar Society and Maria del Sunta Society.  She previously worked in the cafeteria at Sacred Heart School.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Andiorio, a son, Lawrence Anthony Andiorio and five siblings; Joseph Balsamo, Rosalee Balsamo Gorman, Ann Balsamo Korn, Michael Balsamo and Richard Balsamo.  She is survived by three children, Jessica Andiorio Foster and her husband Richard of Boston, MA, Donna McHenry and her husband Timothy of Jeannette and Toni Nestico and her husband Lanny of Jeannette, a daughter-in-law, Denise Andiorio Testa and her husband Sam of Greensburg, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren who were her world, numerous nieces and nephews including Chris Taterak and Mark Balsamo who were like children to her, and her dog Lizzy.  Friends will be received Tuesday from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 N.
