April Marie (Rivardo) Parsons

April Marie (Rivardo) Parsons, 53, of Jeannette,died Saturday August 4,2018 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born August 20, 1964 in Jeannette, a twin daughter of Albert Rivardo, Jr. and the late Anna Marie (Ontko) Rivardo. April worked at CMS East Inc. in data entry and was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette.  She was an active member in Al-anon. As a proud breast cancer survivor, she was very active with Westmoreland Walks serving as a speaker and motivator for others. April loved being out in the sun at her backyard oasis and enjoyed crafting. She made friends incredibly easy and would do anything for others. Her heart will be missed by all who knew her. April is survived by her husband John Parsons of Jeannette; her twin sister Anna Marie Rivardo of Greensburg; brother Albert J. Rivardo, III and his wife Dawn of Mt. Pleasant; mother and father in law John & Priscilla Parsons of Deltona Fl; sisters in law: Cris & Bruce Leidy of New Castle, Kim & Mike Boger and Amy and Ken Yurcisin all of Deltona, Fl. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, God daughter Carsyn, Luke, Bethany, Lindsey, Alyssa, Aaron and Ryan and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday August 9th at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette with Fr Paul Lisik. EVERYONE PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH.
