Arthur W. "Bill" Cochran 74 of Irwin died Saturday March 11, 2017 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  He was born January 9, 1943 in Jeannette a son of the late David A. and Winifred (Manson) Cochran.  Prior to retirement he was employed by the Elliott Co. in Jeannette.  He was a member and former Elder at First Presbyterian Church, Jeannette and he served with the U.S. Coast Guard.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth (Fennell) Cochran, a daughter Wendy Cochran and a sister Carol S. Cochran.  He is survived by two sons David Cochran and his wife Lori of New Alexandria and Brian Cochran and his wife Tiffany of Laughlintown, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Robert Fehrer officiating.  Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church Bullitt Ave and S.
