Earl H. Gamble

Earl H. Gamble, 90, of Grapeville died Sunday May 28,2017 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born June 2, 1926 in Greensburg, a son of the late Harry and Emma (Kemerer) Gamble. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Hilda F. (Jones) Gamble,  sisters Helen Craig McClure and Jean Craig and Sons Lester and Jeffery Gamble. Earl was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg and served in the US Navy. At 60 years of service, he was the longest active member of the Grapeville Fire Hall. He worked as a supervisor at Burrell Construction and was a member of Union Worker # 1058, a lifetime member of the Arlington Sportsmans Club and loved cheering on the Steelers and spending time with his grandkids. Earl is survived by his sons Scott (Terry) of Jeannette, Randy (Sue) of Greensburg and Terry (Vicki) of Ft. Allen. Daughter and caregiver Bonnie Ceresa of Grapeville; daughter in laws Linda and Sue Gamble. A brother Robert of Greensburg. 11 Grandchildren Michelle, Paul Michael, Matt, Jason, Justin, Brittany, Cody, Mara, Joshua, Lana and Randy Jr. 9 Great Grandchildren with 1 on the way, Matthew, Mariah, Kevin, Kyle, Ethan, Isabella, Jace, Jada, Amelia and soon to be Audra and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A service will be held on Wednesday at 10am in the funeral home.
