Erma M. Rudnik, 78, of Jeannette went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, September 9, 2017.  She was born March 30, 1939 in Westmoreland City, a daughter of the late John and Rose Slinkish Carper.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette where she previously served as a Eucharistic minister, taught CCD and was active in the RCIA program.  She also manned prayer lines at Channel 40 and loved to take care of her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Rudnik, great-granddaughter, Isabella Heaton and siblings, Michael Carper and Roseanne Brinker.  She is survived by her husband with whom she would have celebrated 58 years of marriage on September 13th, Eugene Rudnik, three children; Dawn Priolo and her husband Nick of Delmont, Michael Rudnik and his wife Michelle of Greensburg and Marc Rudnik and his wife Justina of Jeannette, grandchildren; Mandy Bittner, Ben and Abby Priolo, Dylan, Sarah and Savannah Rudnik, great-grandchildren, Christopher Rudnik and Gavin and Andrew Bittner, siblings; Johnny Carper and his wife Bea of FL, Donna Stewart and her husband Carl of Harrison City, Stella Crable of Jeannette and JoAnn Washek and her husband Rick of Harrison City and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette.  A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Sacred Heart Church, 504 Cowan Ave., Jeannette with Fr.
