Jules J. "Babe" Brigode

Jules J. "Babe" Brigode Jr. 90 of Manor died Monday March 26, 2018 in Concordia Franklin Park.  He was born March 3, 1928 in Penn a son of the late Jules Joseph Brigode Sr. and Constance Agnes (Gages) Brigode.  Prior to retirement he was employed by General Tire and Rubber Company and he was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Navy.  Babe was a Life Member of the Manor Volunteer Fire Department and the American Legion Post 472 of Manor and the Penn Rod and Gun Club.  He is survived by his wife of 67 years Dorothea (Lomicka) Brigode, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Monday April 2 from 4-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday April 3 at 11:00 AM in Ascension Church, Jeannette.  Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Manor Volunter Fire Department or Ascension Church Jeannette.  The Manor Volunteer Fire Department will meet Monday at 7:00 PM in the funeral home for services.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
