Keith E. Dorko, 62, of Greensburg finished his battle with lung cancer and met his dog, Sabrina, at the rainbow bridge on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.  He was born March 4, 1955, in Hannastown, a son of the late Michael and Grace Nave Dorko.  He was an electrician and co-owner of D&G Electric.  He was a member of IBEW Local 5, an avid bowler, golfer and fisherman, a former marathon runner and an amateur treasure hunter.  He was also a sports and outdoor enthusiast, master of the campfire and grillmaster, he loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas to visit Freemont St., and he loved to spend time with his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Dorko and a father-in-law, Carl Dumsick.  He is survived by his wife Carrie Dumsick Dorko, two daughters, Jennifer Gavin and her husband Charles of Latrobe and Christina Smith and her husband Jeremy of Dormont, a step-son, Kevin "Alex" Gray of Greensburg, three grandchildren, Hunter, Logan and Lucy, a sister-in-law, Marge Dorko of Elizabeth City, NC, mother in law, Eileen Dumsick, his first wife, Carol Govora of Greensburg and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends and his dog Sophie.  A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 10:00 am in the St. Bartholomew Church, 2538 Route 119, Crabtree with Fr. Justin Matro as celebrant.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity.  MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC. in charge of arrangements.
