Kevin R. Kratochvil, 45 of Greensburg died Monday August 7, 2017 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  He was born March 27, 1972 in Greensburg a son of Donna Opela Kratochvil of Greensburg and the late Robert A. Kratochvil.  He was employed at the ARC Workshop and was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Greensburg.  Kevin was a Special Olympian and enjoyed bowling, ARC Bingo, Dances at the Youngwood Fire Department and was an avid Penguins fan.  In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a niece Kiera Ann Gaffney.  In addition to his mother he is survived by his siblings:  Sharon Gaffney and her husband Christopher of Youngwood, Carol Kratochvil at home, David Kratochvil and his wife Toni of Ohio and Mark Kratochvil at home, a nephew Michael Gaffney, a niece Alison Gaffney and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  Friends will be received Thursday from 4-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Detar officiating.  Entombment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Faith Baptist Church 738 Mace St. Greensburg, PA 15601 or Animal Friends 216 Depot St. Youngwood, PA 15697.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
