Robert R. Garris 85 of Jeannette passed away Monday April 17, 2017 in Westmoreland Manor.  He was born May 10, 1931 in Greensburg a son of the late George and Cecelia (Walch) Garris.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn (Runt) Garris, a brother Richard, sisters M. Zelma Mertz and Jean Baker.  He is survived by brothers George Garris Jr. of San Mateo CA, Paul and Kenneth Garris both of Jeannette, sisters Dorothy Rugh of Greensburg and Audrey Hoak of Grapeville and many nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank the staff at Westmoreland Manor for the excellent care Bob received during his stay.  Friends will be received Thursday in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette from 12:00 till time of service at 1:00 PM with Fr.
