Thomas D. Brooks, Jr.71, of Jeannette died Monday, April 2, 2018. He was born, December 19, 1946 in Jeannette, a son of the late Thomas D., Sr. and Sarah Brock Brooks. Prior to retirement he was a delivery driver for Raniers Pharmacy. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. having served during the Vietnam War and was a member of American Legion Post #344 of Jeannette. He is survived by his wife, Rose Mattucci Brooks of Jeannette, two sons, Thomas Brooks III and his wife Kerri of North Huntingdon and Gregory Brooks of Jeannette, four grandchildren whom he dearly loved, Sarah, Katie, Alex and Amber, a sister, Leslie Brandonio and her husband Michael of Greensburg and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette. Interment will be private.
