William A. "Bill" Bailey, Jr., 75 of Harrison City died Sunday, January 20, 2019. He was born October 15,1943 in Pine Bank, PA, the son of the late William A. and Ethel (Glover) Bailey, Sr. Bill was a graduate of Ambridge High School and Electronic Technical School of Pittsburgh. Prior to retirement, he proudly worked as a television engineer for ABC News (The Walt Disney Company) in Washington DC for 40 years, as well as AT&T. Bill was a gentleman and a gentle man who was always willing to help anyone in need. As a nature lover he enjoyed fishing, and gardening. Additionally, Bill thoroughly enjoyed traveling the back roads and thoroughfares of our country as well as the waterways and roundabouts of Europe. Bill loved cars especially his candy apple red mustang. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Mary (Horn) Bailey of Harrison City; children: Danielle Bailey of NJ, David Bailey (Jenny) of TX, Brenda Bailey of VA and Charles "Rusty" Bailey (Trish) of VA, 9 grandchildren: Christopher, Justin, Patrick and Nikkie Snyder; Isabella Dant, Brandy Reed; Alexis, Josh and Jake Bailey, 15 great grandchildren, sister Nancy Stankus (Frank) of NH, brothers-in-law Daniel Horn of CA and Robert Horn (Claudia) of Jeannette and their children Dena Self (Tyler); Bobby and Tyler Horn; mother-in-law Deanie Horn of Jeannette, several cherished cousins, and his two canine companions, who were his pride and joy, Teddy and Gracie. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A funeral service will take place Monday at 10:00am in the funeral home with Fr. Paul Lisik. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Jeannette.
