William J. Dornin, 88 of Jeannette died Monday June 19, 2017 at home.  He was born December 30, 1928 in Greensburg a son of the late Richard and Luella (Rohrbacher) Dornin.  Prior to retirement he was employed by ASG Industries and he was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Army.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Julia (Capone) Dornin, a brother Richard Dornin and a sister Lorraine Peoples.  He is survived by a son William Dornin and his wife Cheri of Harrison City, a daughter Patricia Dornin-Szabo and her husband Steven of Timnath CO, two grandchildren Hollie Lynne Dornin and Zachary Szabo, his siblings; Catherine Brust of Irwin, Ronald Dornin and his wife Ruth of N. Huntingdon, Winogene Gozelanczyk of Jeannette and Patricia Eisaman and her husband Paul of Jeannette and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Wednesday from 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  Military rites will be accorded Thursday at 11:00 AM  Thursday in Westmoreland County Memorial Park by the Jeannette Combined Veterans.  Everyone please meet at the cemetery.  The family would like to thank Allegheny Health Network Hospice, especially Elaine for the care they provided.  The family requests no flowers.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
