Adela C. Escobio, 89, of Jeannette formerly of the Philippines died Saturday May 10,2025 surrounded by love at home. She was born July 9,1935 in Cebu, Philippines a daughter of the late Mateo and Dolores (Pomar) Castro. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Basilio Escobio and son Edgar Escobio. Adela was an avid Roman Catholic and a member of the FAAP Association, Cebuano speaking groups and enjoyed homemaking, needle point, karaoke, dancing and traveling the world. She was the spark that lit up every room. Surviving are her children Lelanie Williams and her husband Lester of Jeannette and whom she lived with, Maricel Beaman of Portland, OR and Rolando Escobio and his children of Davao City, Philippines; a sister Gloria Salcedo and her children of the Philippines; grandchildren Stephen, D'Avery, Jefferi-Lynn, Alexandra, Ednel, Edson and Edrian; great grandchildren Aiden, Dylan, Issabelle and Amiera and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 13th from 10am until the time of Mass at 11am in Sacred Heart Church Cowan Ave Jeannette. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
