Anna M. "Toots" Cook 86 of Greensburg formerly of Jeannette died Friday October 15, 2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born July 13, 1935 in Jeannette a daughter of the late Sebastian and Mary (Merarche) Rubbo. Prior to retirement she was employed as a custom decorator for JC Penney and she was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Jeannette. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Cook, dear friend Michael Ference a sister Rita Faulk and two brothers Peter Rubbo and George DeVico. She will be greatly missed by her children Cheryl Maier and her husband Tim of Jeannette, Carrie Shaffer and her husband Randy of Jeannette, Clifford "Sam" Cook and his wife Janet of Yukon and Charles Cook and his wife Gladys of Jeannette, five grandchildren Rich and Melissa Maier, Gina Maier, Cassandra and Jason Fetty, Callie and Irvin Krueger and Kayla and Robert Thompson, seven great grandchildren Caleb, Waylon, Cash, Kinley, Gavin, Lilah and Kasen, two sisters Virginia Otto and her husband William of Penn and Jennie McDonald of New York, two sisters in law Cecelia DeVico of Greensburg and Ruth Oshinski and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday from 4-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Susan Luttner officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Alyssa for her compassionate care.
