Barbara A. (Scialdone) Cook

Barbara A. Cook 55 of Penn went to be with the Lord Saturday night October 22, 2022.  She was a loving person who was loved by many.  She was a warrior, survivor and fought cancer.  Barb is survived by her husband Mark, her mother Joan (Campbell) Scialdone, two children James and Eris, step son James Cook, seven grandchildren who brought her great joy, and siblings Sandra Scialdone, Susan Staso and Bill Scialdone.  She was preceded in death by her father Richard Scialdone and a brother Mike Scialdone.  As a CNA Barb spent her professional life taking care of others.  Her kindness was returned to her during her illness by many.  The family would like to thank the girls at Hempfield Manor who she loved and they loved her back equally.  There will be no services.  Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc.
