Bernadette T. (Franks) Babiak

Bernadette T. Babiak 87 of Jeannette died Sunday February 13, 2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  She was born January 26, 1935 in Whitney a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Mondock) Franks.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings John Franks, Anna Kendi, Helen Haas, Joseph Franks, Andrew Franks, Dolores Everett and Leonard Franks.  She is survived by her husband Harry Babiak, her daughters Marlene Sweeney and her husband Larry of Latrobe, Diane Heasley and her husband Scott of Harrison City and Cathy Dengler and her husband Bob of Greensburg, two grandsons Nathan and Adam Hutchinson, two sisters Elizabeth Franks of Latrobe and Leona Kutchravy of Oil City and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11:00 AM in Ascension Church, Jeannette with Fr. Job Foote as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Church 504 Cowan Ave. Jeannette, PA 15644.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
