Carl E. Stewart, Sr.

Carl E. Stewart Sr., 91, of Jeannette died Monday December 20,2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born May 24,1930 in Arona, a son of the late James and Margaret June (Lydic) Stewart. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step mother Ruth Stewart; siblings James Jr., William, Betty, Shirley and Curt Stewart, Nancy Parsons, two infant brothers and two infant sisters. Prior to retirement he worked as a tractor trailer driver for Action Industries and served in the US Army. Carl was a member of Cornerstone Ministries and cherished his family. Surviving are his wife Donna (Carper) Stewart of Jeannette, children Carl Jr. and wife Debbie of Jeannette, Jeff and wife Amy of Harrison City, Susann Cashman & K.C. of Woodlands, Tx, and Randy Stewart and wife Darlene of Harrison city; grandchildren Amber, Carrie (Brian), James (Nicole), Abbey (R.J.), Emily, Ray, Lauren (J.R.) & Zach; great grandchildren Kayla, Ava, Calvin, Ariah, Heath, Brianna, Tyler & Sean; a brother Ron Stewart of Irwin, sister Karen Titterington and John of Madison and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 22 from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10;00 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Rich Bryer officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
