Charlene Mae (Demorest) Kerlin

Charlene Mae Kerlin, 74, of Jeannette died Thursday June 6, 2024 peacefully at her home. She was born May 6,1950 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Wilbert and Louise (Pollard) Demorest. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Marvin "Bud" Demorest and Charles Demorest, Sr. Charlene loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a talented seamstress and had a passion for gardening. Surviving are her husband of 56 years Robert Kerlin, Sr. of Jeannette; son Robert Kerlin, Jr. of Jeannette; daughter Denise Kerlin-Mazur and her husband John of Irwin; grandchildren Kevin, Emily, Jessica, Nick, and Rayna, a step grandson Johnathan; 3 great grandsons Jackson, Mason and Owen; siblings Adela Senica of Adamsburg, Wilbert J. "Bill" Demorest Jr. of York and Carrie Ruzyc and her husband John of Jeannette and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday June 9th from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A funeral service will be held on Monday in the funeral home at 11am with Chaplin Marty Wright. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
