Claudia M. (Lane) Scavo

Claudia M. Scavo, 76, of Apollo, died Thursday December 23,2021 peacefully at home with family.  She was born September 27,1945 in Wilkinsburg, a daughter of the late Howard Charles and Margaret (Kerr) Lane, Sr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Scavo. Claudia was the owner of Plum Glass Block and a member of Rock Spring Church and the Holiday Park Fire Dept. She is survived by her children Colleen Stritzinger and husband Matthew of Apollo, Kimberly Grove of Oklahoma Boro, Joseph Grove and wife Renee of Penn Twp. and Angela Carrigan and husband Jerame of VA. Grandchildren Nick, DawnMarie (Scott), Francois(Kassidy), Jestin, J.J.,Jeremiah, Melanie (Tyson), Jamie (Logan), Jesse, Derek (Olivia), Kayla and Caitlin; Great-grandchildren Paige, Dillon, Garret, Payton, Cloie, Bristol, Rowan, Archer, Corbin, Kendall, Cannon, Gavin, Wyatt, Rayne, and Ariel. Siblings Sue Kurtz and husband Ron of Plum, Howard Lane and wife Charlyne of Apollo, Carol Arndt and husband Ray of Oklahoma Boro and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In accordance with Claudia’s wishes, a celebration of life will take place on Saturday January 8th at 11am in The Rock Church 1715 PA-56 Spring Church, PA 15686. Inurnment will be in Mt.
