Daniel Hixson Obituary

Daniel W. Hixson 90 of Pittsburgh died Thursday January 5, 2023 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital. He was born September 16, 1932 in Greensburg a son of the late Walter and Mary (Reed) Hixson. Prior to retirement he was employed by WABCO and was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his former wife Kathryne Hixson. He is survived by two daughters Traci Synan and her husband Kevin and Tammi Kovacs and her husband Richard, one grandson Matthew Szekely and his wife Marta, three grandchildren North, Ivy and Ruby, his buddy Matt Walling and numerous nieces and nephews. Services and interment will be private. Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. Jeannette, PA entrusted with arrangements.
