David 'Mac' McAfoose, 60, of Greensburg, died unexpectedly on April 25, 2024. He was born September 12,1963 in Indiana Pennsylvania, a son of the late Ronald McAfoose. Mac was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed at Omnova in Jeannette. He was known for his hardworking nature and generosity. He was an avid hunter who beamed with joy as he shared the stories of "the buck that got away" He was a devoted husband to Kim and shared his dreams and goals with her for over 25 years. He always made sure to have the best decorated house every year to bring joy to others. He is survived by his children, Terri Snow (Scott Stinson), Christopher Lintner, Brittnie Harris, Shelby (husband Vinny) Pomaibo. He is also survived by and his grandchildren Aubrey, Parker, Colton, Bennett, Hallie, Harlie, Hazel, Mia, Scarlett, Kaleigh, Averi, and Ryen. Also survived by father-in-law, John Amorose, Jr., brother-in-laws Barry Amorose (wife Bev Amorose), John Amorose, sister-in-law Christy Todaro, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his closest friends William "BJ" Shank and John McVicker whom he considered brothers. He will be deepley missed by all who knew him. In leui of flowers, monetary donations can be made to support his wife Kim as she will need to navigate financial responsibilities. Mac was also preceded in death by his his mother-in-law Charlene Amorose, brother-in-law David Amorose and grandmother Dorothy Boik. The viewing will take place at Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. located at 201 N. First Street in Jeannette Sunday, April 28th from 12-2 and 4-6. A funeral service will be held on Monday April 29 at 11am with Rev. Brian Chaffee at the funeral home.
