David E. Tyger, 54, of Jeannette went to be with Jesus his savior Thursday, March 11, 2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born September 11, 1966 in Jeannette, a son of the late Harry Jackson and Emma Jean Swearingen Tyger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Nicole Rostis. He is survived by his wife Maria Brasco Tyger of Jeannette, three children, Jackson William Tyger, Oakley Jacob Tyger and Rebecca Suzanne Tyger, all of Jeannette, three siblings; Vicki Rostis of Holiday, FL, Jackie Tyger of Akron, OH and Russell Tyger and his wife Diane of Mt. Pleasant and a number of nieces and nephews. David was Superman. He was strong beyond comprehension, full of compassion, and a dedicated father, husband, brother, son and uncle. He met every challenge with full measure. He loved with an open heart, always. He was quick to forgive, over and over. He was a dedicated teacher and mentor in all things in life, from guns to mechanics to politics. He was always available to rescue and offer whatever he had to help someone or make them feel appreciated. Superman didn't hold a candle to him. Even now, he can fly.
