Dennis Bollinger Obituary

Sadly Dennis Roy Bollinger, 77, of Penn lost his battle with cancer on Thursday November 14, 2024.  He fought really hard and was on his 21st life!  Either he wasn't ready to go or they weren't ready for him!  Denny was born February 13, 1947 in Greensburg a son of the late Roy Sylvester Bollinger and Dolores Lucy (Pistorius) Bollinger.  Since he was a young boy, his passion for fishing, the Pittsburgh Pirates, Lionel trains, oldies and old cars never died.  He even got his friend Bob to love fishing.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years Kathleen (Gramlich) Bollinger who stood by his side fighting right along with him-never giving up hope and taking amazing care of him.  He is also survived by his daughters Lisa Tuccarello and her husband Brian and Denise Brean and her husband Ray.  He is known as Pop Pop and will be missed by his grandchildren:  Taylor and Tara Tuccarello and their boyfriends Jason Gabonay and Mike Sikosky and Ray, Jason and Derek Brean.  They will always remember our big "Screw your Neighbor card games and the song that was always sung when someone got out.  He is also survived by his only sister, Priscilla Neff and two nieces Linda Neff and Michelle Cibak and her husband Jimmy, along with numerous great nieces and great nephews who will forever remember him making them laugh.  Finally he is survived by his dog, Misty, who was always by his side.  We have never seen a person as strong and who fought as hard.  We hope that his mom and dad met him at the gates-because now is time.  He will be greatly missed, but his memories will live forever.  Friends and family will be received Sunday from 4-7 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  A funeral liturgy will be held Monday at 12:00 Noon in the funeral home with Fr. Job Foote as celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.  The family would like to thank all of Denny's caregivers for their wonderful care.  To send online condolences visit www.mason-gelder.com.
