Derrick L "Bumpy" Hall

Derrick L. "Bumpy" Hall 55 of Jeannette died Wednesday May 17, 2023 in AHN Forbes Hospital.  He was born June 22, 1967 in Jeannette a son of the late Rose Hall and Roberto Davenport.  He is survived by his beloved family:  sons Derrick L Hall Jr., Jordan L. Hall and Kareem Leverio Tre Hall, his wife Travia Hall, grandchildren Jayden Leverio Hall and Giuliana Reign Peters Hall, his siblings Tami Daye (Steven), Antoinette "Toni" Hall, Yvonne "Bear" Hawes (Russ), Theresa Davenport, Roberta "Bertie" Davenport Lee (Darryl), Robert Davenport, Dana Newton and Juanita Davis; brother in law Damon Sanders; Aunts and Uncles Donna Mae Burns, Rev. Jackie Adams (Clifford), Kimberly Hall, Gregory Hall (Virginia), Avery Graves (Arthur "Hookum"), Carlene Cook (Charlie), Jose Gonzales (Linda), Audra Hall, Roy Hall (Patty), Larry Hall, his Goddaughter Sierra Moore and numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by aunts and uncles:  Willie "Tokyo" Burns, William Hall III, Roderick "Tubby" Hall and Dana Hall, a brother Drew Davenport.  Bumpy's outstanding wrestling career included being undefeated in 1985 becoming WPIAL, Westmoreland County, Southwest Regional and PIAA (AA) state champion where he was named AA Outstanding Wrestler Award.  He also was the winner of the AAA and AA wrestle off against Sean O'Day and the Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic.  Friends will be received in Living Word Congregational Church 2003 Ridge Rd Jeannette Monday from 10:00 AM till time of service at 12 Noon with Pastor Roy Aiken Jr. and Pastor Eugene Cooper officiating.  Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc.
