Donald E. Bair

Donald E. Bair 86 of Jeannette died Monday January 2, 2023 in AHN Forbes Hospital.  He was born January 6, 1936 in Bovard a son of the late Harry Bair Sr. and Henrietta (Baker) Bair.  Prior to retirement he was a bus driver for the Hempfield School District.  Don was a member of Jeannette Assembly of God Church and attended Norwin Christian Church, loved his 1967 Chevy Chevelle,  was an avid gardener and was a veteran serving with the US Air Force.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Wilda "Willie" (Volk) Bair, a daughter Teresa Bair, son Gary Bair and an infant son, a brother Harry Bair Jr. and his wife Marcie.  Don is survived by a son Charlie Bair, a son in law Thomas Ranous, six beloved grandchildren T.J. Ranous (Janelle), Tiffany Hornak (Zack), Cassie Johnson, Brittany Bair, Carissa Gunderson and Jacob Bair, six great grandchildren Brenden, Samantha, Brantley, Levi, Ethan and Asher, a sister Martha Locke, his beloved dog Halo and numerous nieces and nephews.  As per Don's wishes services and interment were private.  Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. Jeannette, PA entrusted with arrangements.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made to University of Valley Forge for the Rachel Thompson Scholarship Fund.
