Donald Kerlin

Donald H. Kerlin, 67 of Jeannette went to be with his Lord in Heaven on Tuesday January 25,2022 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born March 31,1954 in  Greensburg, PA a son of the late Silas and Grace (Gongaware) Kerlin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Gary Kerlin and sister Marge Bulan. Don worked at Norwin Plating before opening his own business, M&P Refinishing in 1989 in Jeannette which he co-owned with his two brothers. He loved the business and loved dealing with customers. He was such a loving husband, father and pappy to his granddaughter Makenzi and was always here for us. He was very knowledgeable in just about everything. He knew how to do carpentry, plumbing, and electrical and could figure out how to do most things if needed. He was a great landlord to his renters and always was proud to be able to help people and be a good neighbor. He has many friends from Z&M Harley group and many cornhole groups. He loved riding his Harley with his wife Linda and enjoyed playing cornhole with many good friends in so many places. Donald is survived by his wife Linda, son Jesse Kerlin, daughter Melanie Baker Telford and granddaughter Makenzi Baker; brothers Bob, John and Kenny Kerlin and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
