Donna Gail (Johnson) Detore

Donna Gail Detore, 76 of Greensburg died Monday October 28, 2024 in Elizabeth Seton Memory Care, Greensburg.  She was born October 30 1947 in Jeannette a daughter of the late Robert and Ann (Janroga) Johnson.  Prior to retirement she was a History Teacher for Connellsville School District and she was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette where she sang in the Adult and Funeral Choir and belonged to the Rosary Altar Society.  She volunteered at Bushy Run Battlefield, was a member of the Harmony Card Club and played Bocce.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Jeffrey Detore.  She is survived by her husband Michael Detore, a daughter Jennifer Bilott (Jim), a sister Beverly King and a brother Barry Johnson (Nancy) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church with Fr.
