Dorothy Jane (Ferricks) DeBone

Dorothy J. DeBone formerly of Jeannette died Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in the hospital in The Woodlands, Texas.  She was born February 4, 1932 in Jeannette the daughter of the late John H. Ferricks and Mathilda (Davis) Ferricks.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, William S. DeBone, Sr.  She is survived by three children William DeBone, Jr. of Jeannette, Richard DeBone of The Woodlands, TX, and John DeBone of Casselberry, FL, and four grandchildren.  Prior to retirement she was employed by Sears and was an active volunteer at Memorial Hermann Hospital, The Woodlands and Hug-a-Bear volunteer following retirement.  Visitation will be held on Thursday August 22nd from 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Susan Luttner officiating.  Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park.
