Emma Jean (Byers) Stevenson

Emma Jean Stevenson 100 of St Petersburg, FL died Friday August 23, 2024 at home.  She was born January 19, 1924 in Jeannette a daughter of the late John and Anna (Andrews) Byers.  She was a member of North East Presbyterian Church of St. Petersburg and enjoyed art and music.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 1/2 years William R. Stevenson Sr., a son William R. Stevenson Jr whom she missed dearly., a brother William Byers and two sisters Ruth Bush and Pearl Zimmer.  She is survived by her beloved children; John Stevenson (Bonnie), Jean Ann Bush (Bryan), Linda Price, Bonnie Sliwoski, Mary Carr (Art), Margie Dominic (Paul), Carol Stevenson (Margie) and Patty Stevenson, 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Lily.  Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4PM and 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Elba Ramos officiating.
