Etta V. (Perry) Crawford

Etta V. Crawford, 88, of Jeannette died Tuesday, December 15, 2020.  She was born, January 15, 1932 in Crabtree, a daughter of the late Paul D. and Sadie Perry.  Prior to retirement she worked in the kitchen at Sisters of Charity.  She was a member of the former Zion Hill Baptist Church, and the Salvation Army Auxiliary.  She loved to bowl, swim and bake.  Her family will especially miss her seven up cake.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mamie Louise Crawford, a great-granddaughter, Makiya Feaster and siblings; Jean Grant, Shirley Robinson, Doris Perry, Joe Harris and William Perry.  She is survived by three children, Antoinette Crawford, John Henry Crawford and Cheryl Russ, all of Jeannette, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Betty Warren of McKeesport and numerous nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will be held 11:00am Wednesday in Rock of Refuge Congregational Church, 102 Clay Ave., Jeannette with Pastor David Williamson officiating.  MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., in charge of arrangements.  To send on-line condolences, visit www.mason-gelder.com.
