Frank J. Dopkowski

Frank J. Dopkowski, 59, of Jeannette died Saturday August 14,2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born May 1,1962 in Jeannette, a son of Betty (Smith) Dopkowski and the late Chester Dopkowski. He was an instructor at WyoTech and a talented auto body repairman who loved muscle cars. Frank was a drummer in many bands including the group "Amnesty". In addition to his mother, Frank is survived by his wife Jonna of Jeannette, daughters Janelle Dopkowski & fiancé Patrick of Trafford and Jessica Dopkowski & fiancé Branden of Dawson. Siblings Suzan Frye & Bob, Jim Dopkowski & Mary all of Jeannette and Sonny Dopkowski & Judy of Arona, mother-in-law, Margaret Lee of Trafford, sister-in-law, Dodie Moore of Trafford as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Tueaday August 24 at 6:00 PM at Ardara United Presbyterian Church 3380 Nehrig Hill Rd Ardara PA 15615.  A dinner will follow in the church.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to All But Furgotten Animal Rescue 70 Carpenter Lane, Irwin PA 15642 as Frank loved his dogs. He always said if he could save all the dogs he would. His dream was to have a farm with as many dogs as it would allow. Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. is assisting the family with arrangements.
