Frank M. Panigal

Frank M. Panigal, 95, of Jeannette died Tuesday May 2, 2023 in Hempfield Manor. He was born August 10,1927 in Frogtown, a son of the late Joseph and Theresa (Ferra). In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings John  J. Panigal, Sr. and Mary Dobek and his wife Gisela Elsa (Flohr) Panigal. Frank worked  for American St. Gobain and was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette, the Jeannette Italian Club and American Legion Post #472. He served in the US Army and enjoyed wine making. Surviving are his children Barbara Panigal of Jeannette, Frank B. (Barbara) Panigal of Jeannette, grandchildren Matthew Panigal (Brittany) and Nicole Barnhart (Brad);great-grandchildren Elliana, Sienna, Julian, Isabella, Vivian and Genevieve;  a sister Josephine Chick of Penn and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday May 7th from Noon until 4PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11am in Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette with Fr. John Foriska. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.
