Frederick A. Myers, 77, of Jeannette passed away Thursday September 5,2024 in UPMC East, Monroeville. He was born April 17,1947 in Latrobe, a son of the late James Hillary, Sr. and Regina (Quinn) Myers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Richard, Thomas and John and sisters Sister Corrine Myers,RMS and Rosemary Marnell. Fred worked as a manager for the Elliott Company and proudly served in the US Army in Vietnam. He was a member of FOE 1188 of Latrobe, American Legion Post 344, VFW 8240, and the Polish Brotherhood of the White Eagle, Jeannette. Fred enjoyed his many travels, including cruises, golf trips to Myrtle Beach, and his Canadian fishing trips. He loved watching Steelers football and spending time with his buddies at the American Legion. Surviving are his daughters Amy Myers and Dori Kuchta(Jim); companion Dawn Holman, and her daughter, Ashley; siblings Regina Myers, Kathleen Wenk, Kenneth Myers, Joseph Myers (Ann) and James "Jocko" Myers (Elaine); sisters in law Patricia Myers and Debbie Myers; grandchildren Brandon, Alexandra, Noah, Cameron, Payton, Aubrey and Lettie; great granddaughter, Julia, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday September 9th from 2-4 and 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 10am in Ascension Church, Jeannette with Fr. Daniel Ulishney. Interment will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
