George Ronald Terpko

George Ronald Terpko, known to his friends and family as Ron, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2023, at the age of 81. He was born in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, on June 18, 1942, and graduated from Jeannette High School in 1961.  After high school, Ron drove across the country to California, where he married and raised three children: Jeffrey, Susan, and Michael. Ron worked in real estate for many years before becoming a painting contractor. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching the Steelers, trips to Reno/Lake Tahoe, working on projects at home, flying drones and making video documentaries. Ron always looked forward to attending Jeannette High School reunions and seeing his classmates.  Ron was a kind and loving father and grandfather to his 7 grandkids.  He made everyone around him laugh. Ron will be deeply missed.  A funeral service will be held on September 2, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Michaels Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Penn, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.  Ron will be buried there next to his parents George and Mary Terpko.
