Gerald A. Long, Jr., 54, of Adamsburg died Monday January 16, 2023. He was born June 3, 1968 in Jeannette a son of Dolores (Terek) and the late Gerald A. Long, Sr. Jerry served in the US Army as a ranger from the 75th regiment serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, Mogadishu. He worked as machinist for Quality Tool & Repair Inc and enjoyed motorcycles, gardening, hunting, playing guitar and 4wheeling. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Gina (Burnett) Long of Adamsburg, sons Hunter Long (Ashlynn) of Saltsburg and Dale Long of Mt. Pleasant; 3 step children, 3 grandchildren, his brother Gregory Long (Heidi) of Greensburg and sister Justine Long of Jeannette. Services are private. Donations may be made to the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette who is handling the arrangements.
