Gerald D. Silk, 84,of Jeannette died Friday April 17,2026 at Independence Health Westmoreland. He was born July 18,1941 in Greensburg, a son of the late David and Rose (Monturri) Silk. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce (Starkey) Silk, brother David Silk and grandson Corey Cramer. Jerry worked for many years as a truck driver and loved golf and car shows and gardening. He was a member of the Hilltop Social Club, Manor Valley Golf Course and was a die hard Steeler fan. Surviving are his sons Gerald W. (Patricia) of VA, Daniel B. (Linda) of VA, Jeffery T. of KS and Chad E. Silk of Jeannette; grandchildren Christopher, Brittany, Robert, Michael, Nikki, Danielle, Jeffery Jr., Cole and Cali; great grandchildren Caden, Ryatt, Andrew, Waylen, Charlotte, Eli, Ezekiel, Kai, Kaylee and Kade. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 21st from 4-7PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette.
