Greta B. (Decker) Jones

Greta B. Decker Jones, 97, of Grapeville left this earthly world on Saturday August 25,2024 to go to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and beloved husband Weldon "Bud" Jones of 49 years together, who passed in 1997. She was born May 27,1927 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John Dallas and Hulda Pearl (Guy) Decker. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers John Harold, John D., William and Kenneth; sisters Helen and Betty and a brother in law Jr. Dauberman. Greta was a member of the Jeannette Assembly of God Church and had worked as an inspector for Westmoreland Glass. Surviving are her daughter Bonnie Keller (Darryl) of Grapeville; sister Doris Jean Dauberman of Danville Pa; Sister in law Sally Decker of Greensburg; special niece and nephew Kathy Tokar (Tom) of Irwin and Scott Heasley (Diane) of Harrison City and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home, Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10am in Jeannette Assembly of God Church with Pastor TJ Kroll. Entombment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
